Battle of Crete 1941

I have always been fascinated with this battle and of course anything WWII airborne related. I wanted to portray a "Green Devil" with the appropriate smock and also the look of a Crete Fj during that battle.
If you look at any pictures of these paras they usually always have their smock sleeves rolled up since it was so damn hot!!

I used AVES sculpting clay on wrists and forearms then a repaint of figure to make him look a little suntanned.

I did not go crazy on the weathering as sometimes to much weathering can destroy a figure IMHO! The side cap is from the amazing and talented Kwmim and Keiths caps cannot be matched!!

I pretty much repainted and modified everything on this figure. Hope you WWII Fj fans like him!!
