WWII Oldie major Koenig from Did - a little updated

Hello,

It's been almost half a year since I posted on the forum. I don't do this hobby much these days, however I just updated one of my collections lately which I love and hate. It is major Koenig from Did. I love this figure and still think the headsculpt is superb comparing to the latest release.

However I always hate the Did's old body and all synthetic material used on belt, harness, canteen, boots, which has been completely corroded. So I had to replace them all. Also K98 sniper rifle, though its detail is okay, is not good enough in painting. I repainted and applied some weathering. It is a very simple process of weathering but the result is quite satisfying.

I am certain most members on this forum must have owned this figure on their shelves already, and now it's time to look at it again. It's been a duck and now become a swan in my collection.
