LAH Group of Grenadiers/ MG Squad
Normandy Front 1944

These could also be grenadiers from any SS division in the Normandy front (1AA,2SS,9SS,10SS and 17SS) excluding 12 SS that at least in the images I have seen had a lot of peadot in their unis.
The few images of LAH panzergrenadiers in Normandy, on the other hand, show them like my group, with various smocks and helmet covers and regular field gray trousers.
For some reason this group was started a long time ago and other groups got done while these waited to be finished!
This will be my last SS group for a while as the PanzerLehr Division now ets my full attention.

You will recognize the Scharfuhrer as I posted him before and used him in a contest maybe six months ago. As I mentioned then I wanted his uniform and weapons to denote a salty veteran to go with the Bernie HS.
Below the Scharfurer, with the Untersturmfuhrer (Company Commander) and the Rottenfuhrer (squad leader).
