Gray Alien Pilot
past few years I been hording 1/6 parts like crazy strictly for future Star Wars and Sci-Fi ideas
2 years ago I bought 2 unpainted Cad Bane head sculpts made of resin but recast copies by Sideshow. I own a few original HS, so the recast copies a perfect copys.
Then started to buy pieces of SR-71 pilots by Damtoys to make full pilots minus the human head sculpts. Just to display them (love those pilots, look sci-fi'ish)
So, last year when that "Storm Area 51" was started, I got the idea to use one of the Cad Bane head sculpt and one of headless SR-71 pilots to make a Gray alien test pilot of sort.
But I wanted to finish the pilot before Sept 2019 Area 51 raid, but just kept getting busy, then losing interest.
So, I finally finished this quick and simple custom
head sculpt was painted, drilled the inside neck area to fit a neck plug, and placed on the SR-71 figure.
Only problem is, since the top portion of the head is tall, when helmet is on head, you can barley see his eyes and mostly see forehead. Modding the helmet would be a huge hassle, whatever, just display him with no helmet, looks decent enough for me
hope you guys like the Gray alien pilot. And if you have any ideas I could add, lmk
