Despite what many might imagine , I rarely take commissions for 1/6th figures , for the simple reason that I don’t much like making other people’s ideas when I have so many of my own I want to complete !
The second reason , rather more pressing , is that most people who want them cannot afford to pay for them.
This is sad , but true .
This one was an exception : I loved the subject , and the customer had a realistic grasp of the work involved.
It took around 54 hours.
I confess I had never heard of the Sonderbund War.
A short spat in 1847 about giving the Swiss Confederation a modern constitution , victory to the Progressive forces.
Not Many Hurt…..
