OneSixArtModels is working on new set of Roman Republic legionary in 1/6 scale.

This is Montefortino helmet that will be included in the set. The casting mold is made by hand, cast from brass using jewelry technology, then polished and assembledby hand.

This is roman boots (perones) that will be included in the set.

It made of genuine leather.

Sole with individual nails made specifically for them

Perones are boots that have a peasant origin. The early models were very crude and made of untanned leather. This traditional farmer boots were also among the first military shoes used by the Romans. They were in use well in Roman Republic army until slowly replaced by the caligae the famous Roman legionary sandal.
