The Roman Republic Legionary set by OneSixArtModels in 1/6 scale is ready for preorder.

This set is reenactment of the equipment of the Roman legionaries during the Roman Republic around 100 BC. The pieces of the set are based on historical finds, scientific books and reenactments.

All pieces are unique, handcrafted specifically for this set, and will not be sold separately.

Various materials were used in the work on the set, such as genuine leather, fabrics, wood and metal (steel, brass and pewter). All original brass and pewter parts have been modeled by hand and melted in a jewelry casting technique. The sanding and the polishing of the metal, the sewing of the leather and the painting is made entirely by hand. All of these gives every piece its own individual distinction.

The set will be released in a limited edition of no more than 100 pieces. Each set has a unique number and certificate.

The Roman Republic Legionary set includes:
- Montefortino helmet
- Padded cap
- Gladius Hispaniensis with scabbard
- Pugio with scabbard
- Cingulum Militare
- Tunic
- Subarmalis with pteruges
- Lorica hamata with humeralia
- Focale with fibula
- Perones
- Scutum
- Pilum
- Armillae
- Fascinus

Body and head are not included. We recommend to use the silicone body Phicen M33 or you can use any 1/6 scale plastic body with neck.
