<p>越战澳大利亚SASR渗透巡逻队队员</p><p> 澳大利亚在越南战争中投入的兵力不多,但是却发挥了不可忽视的作用。 澳大利亚的特遣部队由澳大利亚陆军越南教导队（ＡＡＴＴＶ）与特别空勤团（ＳＡＳＲ）共同组成，尽管人数很少，但是却多次成功完成了深入敌后孤军作战的艰巨任务。</p><p>（文字资料因为目前手里有的很分散，等以后整理再补充，也希望有同好提供相关资料共同交流，谢谢）</p><p>找到一些文字资料,是很早以前一个外国玩家对制作越战SASR题材的真实考证和制作心得</p><p>At the height of Australian involvement in Vietnam its Task Force numbered only about 8,500 troops, but they were considered some of the most skilled in combat. One of their mottos was to open fire only “when you see the enemy nostrils”. Their combat discipline was perfect and, when ambushed, they would charge the Communist machine guns, without receiving orders to do so.<br/>當澳洲高度介入越戰時它的軍事實力只有8,500員, 可是他們在戰鬥中可以說是最專業的.<br/>他們其中一條訓言是: 當你看到敵人的鼻尖時才開火. 他們擁有高度的紀律, 在受到埋伏時, 他們會毫不顧慮沖向越共的機槍槍口, 即使未接到命令</p><p>In 1966, a company of approximately 108 Australians was attacked by a 1,500 man Communist Regiment. The Australians suffered 18 KIA’s during the four hour action but, in one of the most brilliant actions of the entire Vietnam War, killed a massive number of Communists (245 enemy dead were left on the battlefield) and sent the entire Communist Regiment reeling in retreat. Australian units were quiet hunters—patient, thorough, always on the lookout for opportunities to out-think the local Viet Cong. The nucleus of SAS operations was the five-man patrol, which lasted an average of ten days. An ambush would only be attempted at the conclusion of a patrol, and then only if practical. Because SAS patrols were only five-man, they had to be able to make as much noise and muzzle flash as possible when compromised. He’s also wearing, and showing, his ID disks and wrist bracelet.
